I had a great experience at Municipal Clothing Store! Brian greeted me with enthusiasm on my first visit, making me feel instantly at home. Kelly and Uriah were incredibly helpful and attentive my second trip in. The clothes are absolutely cutting-edge—think bold, vibrant colors paired with innovative, trendsetting styles that turn heads. The store’s vibe is like stepping into a hip, urban coffee shop lounge, with plush seating, ambient music, and a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere that invites you to linger. Highly recommend this gem for anyone chasing unique active wear fashion !

Tony the barbershop provided excellent service from the start. I was unaware that Municipal had barber inside their location . I was a bit hesitant since I was trying out a new barber, but Tony made me feel welcome and comfortable right away. I usually give my barber creative freedom, which can be a challenge for some due to my unique hairstyle and texture. Tony listened carefully to what I wanted, offered his professional input, and delivered an excellent cut. I’ll definitely be going back to Tony in the future

Jacob was very helpful, he told me about the product and was prompt in offering excellent customer service. I then met Tony “Rudo” Guzman, wow what a talented Barber! I needed my beard straightened out but it required someone with excellent straight blade skills. If you need a shave or fade go see Rudo!

Tony is the best barber in Oceanside! I’ve gone to several barbers in North County San Diego over the years with mixed results. I stepped into Municipal for coffee (also amazing) and noticed they had a barber shop inside so I sat down and got hooked up. Mike always takes his time, clean lines, and perfect fade. I appreciate the quality of his work and attention to detail. Have been 4 times now and always leave happy. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were craving coffee after breakfast. We popped in to Municipal and had an amazing experience. We ended up not only getting coffee but picking up a pair of sneakers as well. The coffee here is wildly impressive and high quality. We will definitely be back before return back home to Phoenix.

Great coffee spot! Very relaxed place and plenty of room to hang out. The coffee is one of the best in Oceanside. The staff is friendly and make great latte.

This spot is not just for shopping but has an adorable Coffee Cafe by Urth Cafe! I'm not sure how my husband found this place but it's his go-to Coffee Spot for coffee beans to make at home. We also popped in today to grab some freshly brewed coffees. I really like the spot there's plenty of seating and has a really cool vibe that differs a lot from your traditional Coffee Spot.

My family and I stopped by while Municipal was closed. Ashley noticed us looking through the doors, came outside to greet us, and kindly invited us in to look around. She took the time to answer all of our questions and never made us feel rushed. She has one of the brightest, most welcoming personalities, and it was honestly some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Ashley truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this place based on the excellent service we received!

Municipal in South Oceanside is hands‑down one of the best spots around. Their organic coffee is incredible, the vibe is super chill, and unlike most coffee shops, you can actually hear each other talk. It’s comfortable, clean, and perfect for working or hanging out — the couches and seating make it easy to stay awhile. They also sell great leisure wear and workout wear, which fits the whole South O lifestyle. And yes… there’s even a barber on site, which is such a cool touch. But the real standout is Kamden. He’s truly the best barista anywhere. He treats everyone like family and makes every drink with care. If you want a place where you feel welcomed the second you walk in, this is it. Municipal has become my go‑to spot for coffee, work, and good energy. Highly recommend.

Absolutely LOVE this place! I first discovered Municipal last year after realizing one of the owners is Mark Wahlberg and as a longtime fan, I had to check it out. First off, having Urth Caffé inside the store is such a game changer. The coffee is incredible, and the whole setup is just next level. It's not your typical cramped coffee shop. There's actually space to sit, work, and enjoy your time without feeling rushed or squeezed in. The vibe here is unmatched. It's become one of those spots where you can get work done, meet up with people, or just hang out. I've even found myself regularly connecting with others who now use this as their go-to morning coffee spot. And the people? Top tier. Kamden, the GM of the coffee shop, is one of the most welcoming and positive people you'll meet. He genuinely makes your experience fun and memorable every single time. Keeva, another barista, also does an amazing job and brings such great, positive vibes to the space. You can tell the team really cares about creating an incredible atmosphere. On top of that, the apparel is seriously impressive. Municipal is putting out gear that absolutely rivals anything else on the market. The quality is outstanding, and their shoes? Unreal. I wear them daily! They're that comfortable and versatile. If you're anywhere near South Oceanside off PCH, you HAVE to check this place out. Coffee, workspace, community, and top-tier apparel all in one spot. It doesn't get much better than this!
